About Us
Hello! This is Sabaretnam, a recent graduate of the University of Oxford, and I would first like to thank you for taking the time to visit this blog.

Having always been interested in the development sector, I worked for a few years at the corporate social responsibility department of a construction-based MNC in India and subsequently went on to pursue my masters in South Asian studies from the University of Oxford. As part of the masters program, I undertook my thesis on a topic very close to my heart: ‘prevention of suicide in India’, focusing particularly on the role of the Indian media in relation to this subject. Hoping to build on this interest and research thus far, I have started this platform titled ‘Empossible India’ to leverage the power of people’s real life stories along with the power of media.
EMPOSSIBLE (EMPathy, EMPOwerment & POSSIBility) INDIA
I strongly believe that sharing human stories can unknowingly help touch many lives, especially in times of need, and that every person’s life story can highly influence someone else’s, be it in a personal or professional capacity. For this very reason, this platform has been named ‘Empossible India’, with empossible being a play on the word impossible, looking to contribute towards replacing feelings of impossibility with a strong sense of possibility, empowerment, and empathy. Thus, stories on this platform are real life stories of Indians that are published here with this intention. If you wish to reach out to us to share your or your organisation’s own story, or that of someone you know, kindly connect with us via our contact us form.
REGARDING MONETIZING THIS PLATFORM
Currently investing personal savings to develop and run this platform, we are analysing available options to monetize it.
